Job Description:

The server is the most customer-interactive role within the four walls on weekends. Focused attention on guests, accuracy in communicating orders and guest needs and a clear focus on the tasks at hand is needed. Attention to appearance and presenting yourself to guest in a positive manner is required as you are the walking representation of Press during your shift. The ability to work well under pressure and keep up in a fast-paced environment is required. High-energy and charisma are also needed traits, along with a positive attitude. A can-do spirit and knowledge of the current menu will be essential to your success. Servers at Press must display authentic hospitality while helping guests enjoy their visit

• providing an escape from the real world for a bit with great beverages, food, and a welcoming environment. Maintaining focus throughout the shift while prioritizing tasks, utilizing strong time management skills, and being detail-oriented to ensure order and service accuracy are key. Running your tables food and drinks will be required, therefore the ability to lift +
• 20 pounds and stand and walk for 6 hours will be required. A typical day within this position would require many tasks that are essential to a high-functioning restaurant:
• When arriving for your shift, making sure your tablet and any related items are ready and you are prepared for the shift
• Warmly greet each customer that comes into Press
• Introduce yourself to your tables and smile while interacting
• Utilize tablet for taking orders. When order taking is complete, you MUST read orders back to the customers to ensure accuracy
• Run drinks and beverages to your tables and call out orders as you pass each item to ensure the correct customer gets the correct product
• Collect payment from customers
• Pre-bus and bus tables
• Assist with any other tasks in the restaurant when customers are good and there is down time Within 30 days the tasks required should be mastered and the job should be able to be completed without step-by-step direction, except for special tasks and situations.

Part-time Compensation:

$11.00+ per hour with tip share. We operate a pooled tip share with a minimum of $4 per hour in tip share for a guaranteed hourly wage of your base pay + $4/hr. Average actual hourly tip share is currently over $5/hr and varies by days of week/shifts worked.
