Job Description
Position Summary- Server The Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to residents, members, guests, and visitors of Albemarle Plantation. This position is dedicated to creating an exceptional dining experience by delivering outstanding hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of service. Essential Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide courteous, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Make menu recommendations and answer guest questions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Process guest payments accurately.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and side work.
- Assist with banquet events, weddings, golf tournaments, and community functions as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and North Carolina ABC regulations.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to provide excellent service. Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Bend, reach, stoop, and carry trays safely.
