Job Description

[Important notice] This time, we are only looking for candidates with at least 3 years of serving experience who are available to work on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. We are looking for long-term/permanent servers only (No seasonal positions available) You must be able to cover a minimum of 4 shifts, and if you have open availability, you may receive up to 7-8 shifts per week. If you do not have serving experience, please do not apply for an interview. ​ We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of Japanese food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience from start to finish. ​ Duties ​Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials. ​ Take accurate food and beverage orders using the
TOAST POS
systems. ​ Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and presented beautifully. ​ Upsell menu items and promote special offerings to enhance the guest experience. ​ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. ​Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. ​ Collaborate with Sushi Chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. ​ Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to ensure satisfaction. ​ Adhere to food safety standards and regulations throughout service. ​ ​ Previous experience in Japanese restaurant environments is preferred and you need to be over 21. ​ Familiarity with TOAST system. ​ Maintain a professional appearance and strictly adhere to restaurant grooming and hygiene standards. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. ​ Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. ​Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. ​Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. ​Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required. ​ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed and Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts are a must at this moment. ​ Join our team where your skills will be valued, and your efforts will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests!
