Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a lively, upscale dining environment. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing attentive service, sharing your culinary knowledge, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Your energy and passion for hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests while showcasing your skills in food and beverage service, sales, and customer relations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as JONAS POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and other beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wine pairings, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, assisting with food handling, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine selections, spirits, and menu options to elevate the guest experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus.\ Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates welcoming atmospheres. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously through effective time management. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and food safety standards is highly desirable. Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing; attention to detail is essential. Experience in bussing tables, serving guests, or supporting host/hostess duties preferred. Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
