Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized service station. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of food industry trends and specials. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering repeat business. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including opening and closing checks. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and billing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations. Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is advantageous. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed in a fast-paced environment.
