Job Description
The Roost Chop House, located on Main Street, Waynesville! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a full table service dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by delivering high-quality service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately input orders into the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Buss tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area to enhance guest experience. Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Assist in training new staff members as needed. Skills Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Proficiency with Union POS is a plus. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic setting.
