Job Description:
It is the responsibility of the server to provide high quality food and beverage service and ensure that guest have an amazing experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell Anticipate guests' service needs Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions Speak to guests' and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests Take the guest order, always trying to use suggestive sell / upselling techniques Serve food and beverage to guest throughout the F&B venue Running food from the kitchen out to dining guest Pre-bus and bus tables throughout shift utilizing a tray Complete open and closing side duties during the shift Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs with minimal amount of disturbance to other guests Process all guest orders thru the POS terminal Adhere to the Hard Rock cash handling policy Adhere to PCI compliance about protecting guest information Protecting basic information from guest such as name, room numbers and credit card information Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g. blind drops) Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean as you go procedures Notify management of maintenance repair issues Complete any additional reasonable requests by management Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift
