Cardinal is a chef-driven, family-owned New American restaurant located in the heart of Atlantic City's Orange Loop. We are looking for energetic, hospitality-focused servers to join our team for the busy summer season. Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, cocktails, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences. Whether serving brunch in our dining room, cocktails in the lounge, or guests in our outdoor Garden, every team member plays an important role in delivering the Cardinal experience.

Full-Time Available Expected Availability:

Nights, weekends, and holidays required Summer season: through September Flexible scheduling available What You'll Do As a Server at Cardinal, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality while guiding guests through our food, wine, and cocktail program. Responsibilities Welcome and engage guests with genuine hospitality Guide guests through menu offerings and daily specials Describe ingredients, preparations, wines, and cocktails confidently Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Maintain section cleanliness and organization Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Process payments accurately Complete opening, running, and closing side work Maintain knowledge of seasonal menu changes

What We're Looking For:

Required Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Team-oriented mindset Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Preferred Previous restaurant serving experience Wine, craft cocktail, or hospitality knowledge Experience with Toast POS Fine dining or upscale casual experience Passion for food and beverage Cardinal Service Standards At Cardinal, we believe hospitality is more than taking orders.
