Support bussing duties by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to keep dining areas tidy and inviting. Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant amenities. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and sales transactions with accuracy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain a clean and organized host stand, assist with managing waitlists, and ensure smooth flow of guests throughout their visit. Uphold sanitation protocols including proper food handling and kitchen cleanliness to promote a safe dining environment. Support night club or bar areas if applicable by assisting with guest relations and ensuring a lively yet controlled atmosphere. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently under pressure. Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and sales upselling techniques. Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly attitude to foster guest relations.
