Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle food and beverage transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly valued Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience with serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles enhances your ability to excel in this position Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding menu items and food preparation processes Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
