Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. Bi-lingual English /Spanish is a plus ! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, answer phone , pack orders and ensures a memorable dining experience. You will handle cashiering duties with precision while providing exceptional customer service, all within a lively and fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant, creating a warm atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a host/hostess when needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems . Process transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with proper cash handling procedures Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring guest satisfaction Assist in food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if required Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options and specials Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities . Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management Experience with food industry operations such as serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess duties preferred Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance sales opportunities Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy fuels exceptional service!
