Job Description

VIP Event Catering Staff play a critical role in delivering an elevated hospitality experience for premium guests. This position requires exceptional service standards, attention to detail, and strong teamwork to ensure seamless food and beverage operations across VIP areas, suites, and hospitality zones.

Metlife Stadium and surronding areas Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Welcome and greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor Present menus, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders in a timely manner Ensure all orders are complete, well-presented, and meet VIP service standards Maintain a courteous, polished, and guest-first approach at all times Food & Beverage Operations Deliver food from kitchen areas to service stations, suites, or skyboxes (including use of gueridon trolleys where applicable) Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen teams to fulfill beverage and food orders Ensure buffet stations and pantries are fully stocked, clean, and properly maintained Monitor food stations and communicate proactively regarding shortages or discrepancies Ensure serving utensils are always available and polished Setup, Cleanliness & Organization Check tables for proper setup and cleanliness prior to guest seating Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently Maintain clean trays, equipment, workspaces, and a well-groomed appearance at all times Prepare, clean, and store all equipment according to established standards Set up, restock, and prepare all areas for current and next-day operations Logistics & Inventory Support Manage movement of equipment and beverages between hospitality areas and back-of-house (BOH) zones per supervisor or logistics manager direction Restock pantries, bars, and BOH areas with required inventory Maintain awareness of daily inventory levels and report needs or discrepancies Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with service staff, kitchen teams, bartenders, and supervisors Ensure all orders are accurate and communicate any special requests or issues promptly Assist supervisors as needed and follow operational direction Maintain a professional, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on high-end guest service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment High attention to detail and presentation standards Must maintain a clean, polished appearance and adhere to uniform guidelines Knowledge of food safety and handling practices preferred
