Food Runner- Exciting on Call Stadium Opportunity The Goodkind Group East Rutherford, NJ Job Details Temporary | Seasonal | Contract $22 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Serving Inventory control Customer service Attention to detail Guest services Event customer service Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable Food Runners to support food and beverage operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a critical role in ensuring guests receive food orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately. Verify food items against tickets to ensure order accuracy and presentation standards. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to coordinate service. Assist with setting up, stocking, and maintaining service stations throughout the shift. Monitor dining areas and assist with guest requests as needed. Support servers and other team members during high-volume service periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, food running stations, and dining spaces. Assist with event setup, breakdown, and post-service cleanup as required. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Provide professional and courteous guest interactions at all times. Qualifications Previous restaurant, catering, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to carry trays and lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement throughout the shift.
