In this role, you'll serve as the critical link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring every dish is prepared, plated, and delivered accurately while maintaining the pace and flow of service. You'll help coordinate communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Expedite food orders from the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate service Verify that all plates are properly prepared, garnished, and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen Organize and coordinate multiple orders to ensure complete tables are served together whenever possible Communicate effectively between kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and management Deliver food to guests promptly and accurately Describe menu items and answer basic guest questions when needed Monitor ticket times and assist in maintaining smooth kitchen-to-table operations Assist with table maintenance and guest requests during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo stations, service areas, and food pickup windows Support opening, closing, and side work responsibilities Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant, food runner, expo, or hospitality experience preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Positive attitude and guest-focused mindset Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays throughout a shift Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
