Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SERVER to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a SERVER, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system. Requirements Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
