Overview Join our vibrant team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this dynamic role, you will deliver outstanding guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create memorable moments for our guests. Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth service flow. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in various settings including nightclubs or casual dining venues. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales while enhancing the guest experience. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations are essential.
