In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills while supporting a vibrant restaurant operation. Responsibilities Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to dining tables, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite orders efficiently, prioritizing timely service Assist in organizing and clearing tables by bussing dishes and resetting stations quickly and courteously Communicate clearly with servers, chefs, and management to relay special requests or modifications Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the service process Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision Monitor order flow during busy periods to prevent delays and ensure smooth service Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards required Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly throughout the restaurant area Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is advantageous Basic understanding of culinary processes such as cooking or food preparation beneficial but not mandatory Demonstrated enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service in fast-paced settings Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
