In this vital role, you will ensure smooth service flow by delivering food promptly, clearing tables efficiently, and supporting the front-of-house team. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations. Duties Safely handle and transport food and beverages from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques. Clear and reset tables swiftly, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service hours. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Support servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering condiments or utensils. Maintain safe lifting practices when moving heavy trays or supplies to prevent injury. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest payments when required. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and cleanliness protocols. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest needs and ensuring a positive dining experience. Support banquet or special event setups when necessary, including serving or clearing during functions. Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver seamless service. Skills Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests. Experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of serving and bussing procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices. Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, and kitchen operations. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Previous banquet experience or hotel/hospitality background is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
