Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a key member of our food service staff, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu, and efficient operations. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant functions. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Recommend menu items, upsell beverages or desserts, and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and provide correct change or receipts using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure dining areas are tidy and welcoming at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety standards Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and transaction processing Host/hostess experience or serving background will be considered an asset Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and night shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a lively setting, and committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
