Job Purpose:

Provide high-quality and memorable wait service to private members in the restaurant and bar on beautiful Lake Hopatcong! What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years experience in a wait service role The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills Able to meet the physical requirements of the role

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (dishes, glassware, trays of food, etc) Ability to perform basic computer functions Must be able to handle hot, cold, and moderate noise interior and outdoor conditions Continuous repetitive motions Ability to read, write, speak and understand English What are the Key Responsibilities? Greet and acknowledge members and guests Efficiently serves, re-sets and clears food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner Become knowledgeable and make recommendations regarding menus, buffet, wine, beer and cocktail list. Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation. Verifies accuracy of bill, prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks through Point of Sales System (POS) Set up and maintain a safe, clean, and organized dining area and workstations. Consistently follows local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of food and alcoholic beverages to members and guests. Proficiently perform any ad hoc duties to support the bar and kitchen staff as needed
