Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during transactions Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus for providing seamless guest experiences Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
