Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Prepare and serve food items according to safety standards, including basic food preparation and food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred; restaurant experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for quick transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication abilities Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and sales upselling Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting Basic kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Can work in a fast paced environment.
