Expo / Shift Lead•Front-of-Kitchen Quality Control (Peach Cobbler Factory, Newark NJ) $17•20/hr | Leadership Role | Career Growth | First Location in Newark Who We Are Peach Cobbler Factory is bringing the South's most beloved dessert to Newark, NJ for the very first time. As we open our doors, we need an experienced Expo to be the engine of our kitchen — the person who keeps quality, speed, and energy locked in during every shift. What You'll Do Run the pass — call out orders clearly, check every plate before it goes out the window, and catch mistakes before the guest does Be the bridge between kitchen and front of house, keeping both sides in sync and moving in rhythm Set the tone and pace for the team — calm and sharp during rushes, energetic and engaged throughout the shift Lead by example: keep the team motivated, accountable, and proud of what's going out the window Maintain food safety, plating, and presentation standards on every single order Step in as a shift leader when needed — coordinating the team, solving problems on the fly, and keeping the line moving What We're Looking For 1+ years of restaurant or QSR experience required — expo, shift lead, line lead, or kitchen supervisor experience strongly preferred Experience with POS systems Proven ability to stay composed and sharp under pressure during high-volume rushes A natural leader — someone the team looks to for direction and energy Strong communicator, fast on your feet, obsessed with consistency and quality Comfortable being featured in social media content (we love showing off our team!)
