Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to connect with guests and provide attentive service will be key to our restaurant's success. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the Aloha POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience. Process payments using the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries or complaints. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in the food industry is preferred, including knowledge of food preparation techniques. Proficiency with cash registers and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
