Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced server to join our dynamic food and beverage team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in a lively dining environment. Your culinary knowledge, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will ensure guests enjoy memorable visits. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, wine pairings, and restaurant offerings to elevate the guest experience Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Skills Proven experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and cashiering Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances service quality Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Experience in serving, bussing, host/host duties, or related roles within the food industry is highly desirable Strong communication skills paired with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Join our team if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment!
