Job Description
Job Overview We're looking for friendly, positive, and dependable team members who enjoy connecting with people and being part of a supportive team environment. We are a family owned Chinese restaurant focused on great food, warm hospitality, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant, bringing good energy to work, and making customers feel at home, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Skills Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain a clean environment. Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences. Familiarity with bussing duties to support the dining area's cleanliness. Previous restaurant or server experience is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Job type : Full time / 40 hours a week. Flexible scheduling available. Weekend and evening availability preferred.
