Job Description
Hiring Food Runners Responsibilities:
- Deliver upscale food service with professionalism and top quality
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Help prepare food area for service
- Work with the Chef and Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to read a food ticket and follow instructions
- Good customer service with a smile is a must.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol
- Professional references required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g. kegs)
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Note:
Retail math skills, banquet experience, food service experience, and catering experience are a plus.
