Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and food safety standards such as sanitation and proper food handling Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience Clear tables, bussing dishes efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and inviting Assist with opening or closing duties, including cash handling, basic math calculations for transactions, and POS reconciliation Support kitchen staff with food preparation or other duties as needed to ensure seamless service flow Uphold all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across multiple tables or sections Knowledge of the food industry's best practices for serving, upselling, and guest engagement Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus but not required Prior host/hostess or bussing experience can be beneficial for understanding guest flow management Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
