As a cashier/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders (dine in and take out) using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling techniques to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery (dine in and take out orders) of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately using cash registers and POS systems, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food service practices, including food handling and sanitation guidelines. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for all guests. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Proficient in using cash registers and POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
