Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings with enthusiasm. Prepare and serve food items, including swirling ce cream, and managing food presentation to meet quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process sales accurately and quickly. Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, utensils, and equipment following food safety guidelines. Upsell additional products or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Assist with food preparation tasks like topping station setup, ingredient replenishment, and basic kitchen duties as needed. Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing. Strong food handling knowledge, including sanitation standards and proper food safety procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus, especially related to serving or cashiering roles. Effective communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
