Duties Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards Coordinate closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet presentation standards Clear tables by bussing dishes promptly and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Support the expediting process by communicating effectively with kitchen staff using systems like Club Essentials POS to prioritize orders Handle food safety protocols diligently, ensuring proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet or special event service areas when required Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs, answering questions about menu items, and creating a positive dining atmosphere Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating professionalism, friendliness, and a proactive attitude at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; familiarity with serving, bussing, or expediting roles is a plus Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation procedures Experience with POS systems such as Club Essentials POS enhances efficiency in order management Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly around the dining area during busy hours Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Experience in banquet settings or hotel food service can be beneficial for handling large-scale events Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Commitment to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols at all times Join us as a Food Runner/Expeditor and become an essential part of creating memorable dining experiences!
