Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energetic attitude and attention to detail will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring seamless service flow and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and quick responsiveness will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting our dedicated restaurant staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a spotless dining area for incoming guests Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables, maintaining hot and cold food safety standards Handle food with care, practicing safe lifting techniques during heavy lifting tasks such as moving trays or large dishes Maintain cleanliness in the dining and service areas, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety protocols Use POS systems like Toast to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during heavy lifting or repetitive tasks Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation is advantageous Strong communication skills to coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and guests effectively Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting Experience with POS systems such as Toast is a plus but not required; training will be provided Previous banquet or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not essential; a passion for hospitality is most important Join us in creating exceptional guest experiences through teamwork, energy, and dedication.
