They are the ambassadors of what we've made and found while on our mission to establish M&F as the premier hospitality house of coffee and Latin American cuisine Genuine courtesy and family style hospitality is important. Professionalism and effectiveness must always be maintained.
Daily cash tip average:
$150-$400 Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, follow the Steps of Service as branded by our Family Style Hospitality Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Follow all SNHD standards Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and bussing tables to support kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through POS systems, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Strong knowledge of POS systems operations (such as Toast) Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build rapport with diverse guests Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in upselling beverages or menu items to maximize sales opportunities Excellent communication skills with basic math proficiency for cash handling and bill splitting Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
