Job Overview Drop anchor and join the crew! Gambi's is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Servers to help deliver unforgettable dining experiences. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide professional, attentive service with personality. Learn/Know the menu and guide guests through it. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately input orders into the POS system, including Aloha POS or OpenTable as needed. Handle transactions with ease and accuracy. Maintain clean and orderly tables with the help of your teammates. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service stations. Collaborate with front and back-of-house for seamless service, ensuring timely food preparation and delivery. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards. Skills Previous serving experience in a full-service or upscale-casual restaurant preferred for strong knowledge of food service operations, particularly in fine dining environments. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is preferred. Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Solid math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in sales techniques to enhance guest experiences through upselling menu items. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality to collaborate with fellow staff members. A positive attitude and polished presentation will get you far here! Basic food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required. Evening and weekend availability is preferred
