Amherst & Williamsville)! Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you will serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied. Your energy and attention to detail will create memorable moments for our guests, whether they're enjoying a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant environment that values guest relations and food service excellence. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring clarity and efficiency Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage cash handling, cashiering, with precision and professionalism Assist with bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments required Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, a plus but not mandatory Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and managing transactions smoothly Bartending experience a plus!
