Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with sanitation regulations Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fine dining environment Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or upscale venues Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables seamlessly during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous; basic math skills for cash handling and billing are essential Familiarity with the food industry's best practices for serving, food preparation, and guest relations Join us at Juquila Restaurant where your enthusiasm and expertise will contribute to creating extraordinary dining experiences.
