Alexander's on the Lake is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Server to join our team. We are in search of a candidate with a passion for the food service industry and a strong background in customer service. Our Servers play a crucial role in creating the community environment of Alexander's by showing their personalities and ensuring timely, attentive service to our guests. Integral to your success will be your time management skills and showing up every day ready to have a great time on the lake.

Wage:

$10.70+Tips Responsibilities Ensure prompt and friendly greetings to all guests as they arrive Accurately take food and drink orders with a full understanding of our offerings Place orders and process payments withing Toast POS system Highlight current menu specials and use menu understanding to make recommendations to provide and enhanced dining experience. Promptly deliver all guest requests while keeping consistency Be attentive to all guests, be sure they always have what they need, be it your table or not Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure quality standards and guest requests are met Keep the restaurant clean and organized throughout your shift. Maintain all health, safety and sanitary regulations for food and beverage handling Requirements Experience within restaurant industry preferred, customer service background required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proven time and task management skills Past use of Toast or other restaurant POS system preferred Communicate effectively with staff and guests with an upbeat, positive attitude. Collaborate as a team with Front of House and Back of house staff Eagerness to help others and provide a community atmosphere Schedule flexibility, available evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
