  • A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients.
We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Our open kitchen celebrates the culinary craft & keeps our whole team in sync with the guests. If this sounds like an environment you would like to work in, it's time we hear from you! Server We are currently looking for experienced server & food runner to work with us 2-5 nights a week from June through October at our lively & social eatery. Serving shifts begin at 3 PM or 4:45 PM depending on the day. What we can expect from you: 4+ years of previous serving & food running experience
  • high-end & high-volume setting preferred An updated resume showing a history of long term tenure with current or previous employers has wine, beer & cocktail recipe knowledge
  • advanced & regional knowledge preferred to stay current & creative with culinary, beverage & hospitality trends to complete side work & cleaning duties to standard to maintain a clean and organized dining room & all FOH stations strong customer service skills effective communication & team work
  • you need to be able to work with all service staff all while communicating with the kitchen and guests be a professional: remain composed
