Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Toast POS sysem Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform basic math for billing purposes Support reservation management for smooth seating flow Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary options to assist guests effectively Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS; Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Culinary or kitchen experience can be an advantage for understanding food preparation processes Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes every guest's experience memorable!
