Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Assist customers with product demos, upselling opportunities, and merchandising displays to enhance their shopping experience Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, restocking supplies and stocking shelves as needed Support inventory management through stocking, product placement, and stock replenishment tasks Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Requirements Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking and merchandising Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience Knowledge of grocery store operations, product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising practices is beneficial Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy makes a difference!
