Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to ensure smooth service flow. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary needs. Handle food handling procedures safely and adhere to food safety regulations at all times. Support the restaurant team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, ensuring compliance with health standards and food safety protocols. Provide exceptional guest services by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs throughout their dining experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with food handling, serving, bussing, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role. Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of banquet service or hotel hospitality operations can be advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and delivering excellent guest service. Prior kitchen or culinary experience supports understanding of food safety standards and food presentation. Experience in customer service roles within hospitality settings demonstrates your ability to create positive guest interactions.
