Job Overview hourly + Tips We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Waiter to join our vibrant dining team! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns with professionalism and urgency Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest relations Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly across serving, bussing, and guest interactions Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and basic math for accurate billing Previous experience in host/hostess roles or food industry positions is a plus but not required Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting trays or bussing tables Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver top-tier service in a lively environment!
