Position Overview The Server at The Manner delivers an exceptional, personalized dining experience that reflects our commitment to understated elegance and genuine hospitality. This role requires a passion for service, strong product knowledge, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while creating memorable moments in an intimate, refined setting. Key Responsibilities Provide warm, attentive, and polished service to guests throughout their dining experience Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings Offer thoughtful recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences and special requests with care and accuracy Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly Serve food and beverages with proper timing, presentation, and service etiquette Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs without being intrusive Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas Collaborate closely with server assistants, bartenders, culinary teams, and management to ensure seamless service Process guest checks accurately and follow all cash-handling and payment procedures Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines Uphold the hotel's service standards, brand values, and luxury hospitality philosophy Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, or upscale restaurants preferred Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service etiquette Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service Physical & Scheduling Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry trays and service items up to 50 lbs Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer An intimate, elevated work environment focused on quality over volume Competitive compensation, gratuities, and benefits Opportunities for growth and development within a luxury hospitality setting A collaborative, service-driven team culture
