Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper food handling and safety standards are maintained. Serve dishes promptly to guests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to enhance their dining experience. Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas. Collaborate closely with servers, chefs, and other team members to coordinate food delivery and guest requests efficiently. Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks like moving large trays or boxes of supplies to prevent injury. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and manual handling techniques is highly valued. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests. Experience with banquet service, catering events, or hotel hospitality is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen operations, cooking processes, or culinary environments enhances your suitability for this role.
