Server/Waiter

Job Overview As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. This position requires a passion for customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly in settings such as fine dining or nightclubs. Duties Greet guests promptly and courteously, establishing rapport to enhance guest relations. Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or similar systems. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for checks. Adhere to food handling safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus but not required. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing helpful recommendations to guests.
