Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting environment. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Experience Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is advantageous. Experience with food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is essential for success in this role. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing the guest experience. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Prior host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial for understanding guest relations and service flow.
