Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking several dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations for food and beverages, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication regarding orders. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling practices at all times. Requirements SERV Safe Certified or must take class and pass within 30 days of hire. ATap for Bartenders is required Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Must be available 20-35 hours per week Must be able to work weekends Reliable Transportation Basic knowledge of wine. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including Spot On POS, reservations, food preparation, and sanitation practices. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
