Food Runner Busser

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser/Food Runner/Barista to join our dynamic restaurant team. This plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals and drinks promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in food preparation or customer service and enjoy working in a restaurant setting, we would love to hear from you. Must be available to work weekends from April onward. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all tables are promptly and correctly cleaned and set for new guests. Assist in drink preparation as needed, ensuring all meet our quality standards before serving. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any guest needs. Buss tables as necessary to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including assisting with dishwashing when required. Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries confidently. Utilize POS system for order management when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Experience with POS systems is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be available to work weekends from April onward.
