Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, hospitality-driven environment! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular dishes or drinks, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Manage multiple tables by prioritizing tasks effectively with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service. Clear tables promptly after guests leave, bus tables as needed, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments securely, and provide correct change or receipts. Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address concerns professionally, and ensure a memorable dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any service issues swiftly. Assist with opening or closing duties as required, including setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Experience Previous restaurant experience is preferred. Proven customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts by multitasking across serving, bussing, and guest relations duties. Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; experience with cashiering is advantageous.
