Our Sister restaurant Iron Vine is looking for your energetic personality and exceptional customer service skills to help create a memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you'll be the friendly face behind the bar, expertly serving beverages and food while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively environment. The ideal candidate has bare experience or is willing to learn. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service, sales, and hospitality operations. Duties Greet guests warmly and take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such Clover. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety standards and company policies. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and proper change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations. Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages during service. Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions by serving guests professionally in high-energy environments. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover and cash handling. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy. Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous for supporting large events or special functions.
